Awarded to an individual to apply towards costs associated with producing a project. Awarded based on record of accomplishments indicating an ability to complete project, and quality of submitted materials. Open to students at the college-level and above.
Parameters of Scholarship
Open to college, graduate-level, or continuing-education students actively enrolled in an approved educational institution in Oregon.
Student must be pursuing a career or coursework in one of the following fields: journalism, film, video, audio, photography, or multi-media.
Graduate students must be pursuing an advance degree in one of the above fields.
A majority of the project's locations, cast, crew, vendors and services must be based within the state of Oregon.
Scholarship Submissions Must Include (Please provide 3 copies of the submissions materials)

Cover Letter or Letter of Intent
3 letters of recommendation
Submission or description of work in the industry.
Project Description, including list of crew positions or vendors, affiliated partners
Statement of Obstacles to Completion of Project, including how obstacles will be addressed. MAE Scholarship funding may be included here to address financial need.
